Pete Messick, Principal Broker/Owner
Born just up the road in Salisbury, MD, Pete traces his family ancestry to Eastville, VA. Growing up in the Philadelphia suburbs of rural Bucks County culminated in a move to California in 1979 to pursue graduate school. Though not raised on the Eastern Shore, his roots beckoned, when he moved to Cape Charles in 2007, retiring after 20+ years in cultural resource management as a professional archaeologist.
Currently serving on the Governmental Affairs Committee of the Eastern Shore Association of Realtors, Mr. Messick obtained his real estate license in February 2008 and Principal Brokers license in 2013. Post-licensing education includes commercial real estate investment analysis with the CCIM Institute, NAR Short Sales & Foreclosure Resource Certification and the Northampton County Planning Academy. Along with 7 years experience in the financial services industry, Peninsula Properties of Virginia offers excellent, quality service to meet the real estate needs of buyers and property owners.
